This Dust Boot  for the Legacy CNC with ATC is a superior dust boot that is engineered to simply perform better.  This design utilizes a air piston (included with purchase) to raise or lower a "flapper" or hinged bristle section which allows the spindle to perform tool changes without the need to raise or lower the entire boot.
 
Each dust boot design is sized for either their 6HP or 11HP spindle and accepts a 5" flex hose.  Each size is specifically designed to the spindle and does not need any adapter.   Please make your selection carefully from the drop down.  Also from the drop down, you have the option of only purchasing a lower magnetically attached bristle frame component for either a spare or different length.  There are two lengths for the bristle frame, Standard and Short.  The Standard bristle frame extends 3.38" beyond the very bottom of the spindle (or the top shoulder of the tool holder).  The Short version is for very small tooling and only extends 2.25" beyond the bottom of the spindle.  The bristles in the hinged component are interchangeable and are matched to the length of the main bristle frame. 
 
You can also order a separate hose management bracket that will keep the hose centered on the spindle and take some weight off the lower boot assembly (shown in green in two images but shipped printed in black).
 
NOTE:  The new air piston is provided with purchase.  You will need to remove and set aside any existing pneumatics prior to assembly of the new dust boot.  You will continue to use your existing pair of 1/4" air lines.
